We offer you

Björkhagaskolan is a two-stream school for grades F-6 located in central Söderköping, close to an outdoor pool, library, sports hall, ice rink, forest, and nature. The operations are conducted in two buildings, Haga and Björkbacken. In the Haga building, we have our after-school centers for grades F and 1, and at Björkbacken, we have after-school care for grades 2-6. The school years F, 1, and 6 have their classrooms in Haga, while grades 2-5 are located at Björkbacken. The after-school center is organized into tracks: H-classes (F-1) and E-classes (2-6). There are four departments, with three educators working on each department.

Here you will meet experienced and knowledgeable colleagues who will support you in your work. There are also well-established routines to rely on. Söderköping Municipality conducts joint competence development work for after-school care, with regular meetings for all educators. At these meetings, you will meet colleagues from the after-school centers of other schools and exchange experiences with them.

Job Description

We are now looking for a new colleague for one of our F-1 departments. You will work in pre-school class or grade 1. If you have qualifications in art or physical education, you may have the opportunity to teach these subjects as well.

During after-school hours, you work at one of our F-1 departments, where you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on the activities. The after-school center works based on a well-established annual calendar. Progression is ensured through a shared annual calendar weave.

Qualifications

You are a qualified teacher in after-school care. You have a holistic view of the assignment and consider the best interests of the entire operation. You are creative and bring your own ideas and suggestions for improvements. You understand the value of good relationships with students and guardians and work to establish them. You collaborate easily with others, listening to their input while also contributing your own opinions.
